A good question is, how will Wrestlemania be after Wrestlemania 30? Here are the many predictions for a positive but also negative future.
Why It May Be Negative:
1. WWE depends greatly on part-timers for ratings. The Rock is the only reason it seems for ratings to be over 3.20. When Rock does not appear, ratings in Wrestlemania season are at 3.09 or so. Not good.
2. Wrestlemania without Undertaker will be weird.
3. John Cena & CM Punk will not be young forever & there aren't many up & coming guys aside from Ryback. This man would really need to step up, but Ryback merchandise would not sell very well & he can't get the kids on his side with his monster gimmick. He has an adult favored gimmick on a PG show. He will have to talk more, & be more like Triple H.
4. Sheamus & Orton are top faces, but are very stale now, imagine in 2 years? Hopefully, Orton will turn heel & take Punk's place as top heel as it is said Punk will be taking a leave after Mania.
5. New talent does not look so good. As much as the Internet bandwagoners claim to love technical wrestling, guys like Antonio Cesaro leave dead crowds. He is very boring. Bryan & Punk are the only guys right now who have mastered technical wrestling. Bryan may be a top face in the company soon enough.
6. PG Era takes away from wrestling. No holds barred matches & Hell In A Cell Matches Should Always Have Some Blood.
7. Dumb gimmicks: Look at half the NXT roster's gimmicks & you will see.
Why It May Be Positive:
1. Ryback & Daniel Bryan. These two can be two top faces. Doing a Ryback vs John Cena SummerSlam bout to put over Ryback after Wrestlemania 30 would be huge. This is a way to far in advance prediction, but I like it. Also, I don't say Mania main event because i'm sure WWE will find some way to bring back some part timer to get him in there. Daniel Bryan is a great technical wrestler & is well over. We will see him as top face soon enough. Kids love him as well. Gimmick is great, & he is also quite tough on the mic, rather than "humble." Make him less goofy, & he will be fine. Very possible.
2. People May Get Used To The New Talent: People may truly look at Ziggler & Bryan as top guys. They got passed the attitude era & still watch, i'm sure they can get passed this.
3. They May Go TV-14. It would help a lot. Kids like to watch what they shouldn't watch & adults like the action. Enough said.
4. Our current wrestling God's can help newer guys. It doesn't seem like Rock is training other guys, obviously. John Cena & Punk are company men & surely will always stick around.
